Our Services
Please allow me to help ease your concerns and heavy heart. I understand that
making this decision can be one of the most challenging moments in your life. My goal is to support you and honor your companion by providing a peaceful passing at home through our specialized, compassionate services.
In-home euthanasia enables me to focus on your pet’s comfort, ensuring their final moments take place in familiar surroundings. Compared to a clinic environment, both pets and their families experience reduced stress. This setting allows everyone time to process and find comfort together in their own space. As an in-home euthanasia veterinarian, I am able to dedicate more time to each patient, typically seeing three to four families per day compare to many more in a busy clinic. This approach ensures we can provide a calm, dignified, and peaceful experience for both you and your beloved pet.
Virtual Quality of Life Assessment Consultation ($150)
If you are uncertain, let us work together to assess your pet’s circumstances. With many years of experience in both clinical and specialty settings, I can assist you with any questions or concerns you may have in reaching a decision about your pet’s quality of life. For this consultation, I will ask for medical records you may have, brief history and current situation and concerns at home.
This appointment is over the phone or a virtual platform and is typically scheduled for 30 minutes.
DISCLAIMER: Please note that the purpose of the virtual appointment is to provide general guidance on the quality of life of your pet. It is not intended to replace an in-person physical examination, which is required to diagnose or treat your pet.
At-Home Euthanasia ($500)
If you and your family have determined it is time for your pet’s passing, I will kindly go over the in-home end-of-life services I provide. This service will include sedation to provide your pet a peaceful sleep and their family to have their final goodbyes. Once the family is ready, I will respectfully complete the euthanasia process while allowing the family to grieve in the comfort of their home.
This appointment is typically scheduled for an hour, but I am in no hurry. Everything, including any and all questions you may have, will be done at a respectful, calm and reassuring pace dictated by the family I am supporting.
After-Care
I partner with a licensed crematory to be able to provide dignified after-care services. This is not just any licensed crematory, but rather a crematory that I have thoroughly vetted and would trust to treat my own family pets with the respect and dignity that they deserve.
For both private and communal cremations, I will handle the transport of your pet to the crematorium.
Please note, for pets over 120 pounds, 24-48 hour advance notice will be needed so that I can properly arrange for careful and sufficient transportation.
Private Cremation ($350)
Should the family so wish, I will arrange for a private cremation where your pet will be cremated individually. Your pets’ ashes will then be returned to you in a personally selected urn. If you select this option, I will review the various options you have, including information on the return of your pet’s ashes.
Communal Cremation ($200)
With this option, your pet will be cremated with other beloved pets. Your pet’s ashes will not be able to be returned but will be handled in an highly dignified manner.
