Our Testimonials

We had to send our senior dog to heaven in a graceful manner. He was with us all of his life, and he only deserved the very best path to heaven. Dr. Vasquez came out and from the very start she was kind, gracious and patient. She took good care of our old boy. She wrote us a beautiful note and sent it to us the next week and remembered everything that we told about our boy. She took care of everything after afterwards and then drove all the way back to our house to drop off his paw prints I highly recommend you using her services instead of taking your loved one to the cold and sterile environment that they may otherwise have in a different setting. I believe doing this in your home where they are comfortable is the very best solution and I would use Dr. Vasquez over and over again when it is time for my pets to go to heaven.

Barbara came out to our house as quickly as she could and treated our family with so much care and made sure that our sweet girl, Evie, was as comfortable as she could be in her last moments. She compassionately approached Evie, walked us through the process, and allowed our grief to take its course as it should naturally and without haste. We held our sweet baby, and took our time to come to terms that she had passed. As we mourned our loss, Barbara knew exactly when to give us space, what to say, and how to respect Evie even after her passing. Out of all the possible experiences we could have had on our last day together with our sweet girl, we couldn’t have asked for better care or more compassion than what Barbara provided. When I remember that day, I’m stricken with a deep sadness that our pup is no longer with us, but I am not burdened with any regrets regarding the trust we placed in Barbara. A pet’s passing is never easy, and it’s never something any of us are ready for, but if you find yourself in a situation where you’re having to make the tough decision to help them pass peacefully, I highly recommend contacting Barbara. You will be giving your family the most empathetic and caring experience when it’s time to say goodbye.
Evie will live on in our hearts forever as will the memory that our last morning together was in our home, where she felt most safe, and where we knew she would want to be in her last moments. We miss you pretty girl; we’ll be together again someday.

One of the hardest days of my life was the day my sweet baby girl of 14 years, Nanny died in my arms. If you’ve ever lost your furbaby you know how deeply the pain cuts. I was distraught and obviously not thinking clearly. We found two angels who stepped in, took care of my sweet girl while I fell apart. Dr. Vasquez and her husband treated me and my girl with such respect and kindness, to think of it now brings tears to my eyes. It was a Saturday morning and Dr Vasquez’ husband came to take my sweet Nanny to her final appointment. He was so gentle with her, he placed a blanket on her for me. I watched from my balcony as he cradled her in his arms and gently placed her in the truck. I was so comforted to see the amount of care being given to my girl. I made the absolute right choice in choosing Always and Forever Pets. Dr Vasquez brought my baby back to me, I cried to see how beautifully everything had been done for my sweet girl. I’m comforted knowing that she was well taken care of in her final journey. Angels do walk among us. Thank you so much Dr Vasquez and thank you to your husband. Forever grateful for Always And Forever Pets.

I highly recommend Always and Forever Pets. We had a very sudden health event with our 15-year-old Westie that required us to say goodbye. We had just gotten back from being out of town, and Barbara gave us time to say our goodbyes and made the process easy and painless. She was very kind with me and my children as we grieved. I was so grateful we were able to do this in our home where everyone was more comfortable and at easy. She was so gentle with Weston, and I will be forever grateful for her kindness.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Barbara Vasquez. I had to put my soul dog down this week after a short battle with an aggressive cancer. I knew I wanted it done at home where he would be comfortable and around our other pets. I did not want his final moment to be in a cold noisy vet’s office. I called several other mobile vets and none of them could help me that day. I didn’t want him to suffer another night of labored breathing. I called Dr. Vasquez about 10:00 am and she too said she had a full day but would work me in as her last call that evening if I was ok with that. She showed up that evening just like she said she would. She explained how the whole process would be since we’ve never had to do this at home before. She made the passing of our dog much smoother and peaceful than I ever expected. He took his final breath while I was holding him all the while she calmly told us when and what to expect. She also took care of his transportation to the crematorium.
If you ever have a need to put your fur baby down, she should be the first one you should call. She truly is an angel and cares about helping your pet pass over the rainbow bridge peacefully. RIP Wally Ray 2018-2026. We will be together again 😭.

Our sweet Landry’s cancer came back, and we knew it was time to let her go. The compassion that was shown to both us and Landry was something I’ll never forget. She was a very anxious dog by nature, but the process was very calm and peaceful and I am grateful.

This is always the hardest part of loving/owning pets, the ” goodbye” for whatever reasons it comes time to let them fly, I would highly recommend Dr Vasquez. She was so gentle and loving with our Lilly. We have other loved pets that will someday have to leave us, and we will absolutely use her again. Thank you for your compassion 🙏

Dr. Vasquez was so warm and kind during our very stressful time of need. My Lady Bird aka Birdy Girl was able to cross the bridge at home surrounded by everyone who loved her and in peace. The process was gentle, done with dignity and we never felt rushed.

I feel blessed beyond belief to have found Dr. Barbara Vasquez when I did. After a year of one thing after another, my beloved 7½-year-old boy, Brewster, encountered something I knew he wasn’t going to overcome, and with a very heavy heart, I knew it was time to say goodbye. In what should have been our worst moment, Brewster and I experienced nothing but compassion, peace, and grace. In the calm and comfort of our living room, Dr. Vasquez allowed Brewster to be in my arms as he passed. Her gentle, soft-spoken manner and her words of empathy and understanding brought us both a sense of peace during an incredibly painful loss. Dr. Vasquez turned an unbearable moment into one filled with dignity, love, and comfort. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to say goodbye to their fur baby in the safety and familiarity of their own home. It’s not goodbye, but until I see him again. ♥️🐾

We are so deeply grateful to Dr. Barbara Vasquez for the compassionate and loving care she gave our 14-year-old lab, Nolan and our 15-year-old lab, Cassie. Saying goodbye to them, a little over a month apart from each other was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but Barbara’s kindness, patience, and gentle presence made the experience as peaceful and comforting as possible. She treated Cassie and Nolan with so much dignity and tenderness, explained every step of what would happen to us with understanding, and gave our family the time and space we needed to say our goodbyes. Barbara’s calm, sweet, and genuinely caring nature brought us comfort during not one, but two incredibly emotional times. We will always be thankful for the grace and respect she showed Cassie and Nolan, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone facing this difficult decision. Saying goodbye at home, especially with big dogs who would’ve been almost impossible to get to a vet’s office, was absolutely the best decision. They were calm, relaxed, and we even fed them ice cream and while it was happening. Thank you so much, Barbara, for everything you have done for us and our beloved dogs!

When Dr. Vasquez with Always and Forever Pets entered my home I felt like an angel arrived to help my pet make her transition. Dr. Vasquez brought a quiet, gentle and respectful presence to one of my families most difficult moments. She explained each step and what we could expect. She was gentle and kind with my precious dog in her final moments. Giving the gift of peace and comfort to my beloved dog during our final farewell was worth every penny.

Out of selfishness I wanted to keep my baby longer but knew that wasn’t realistic. Dr. Vasquez was the first person I called, we had a conversation, and I figured I’d call around to a few more places. Again, I type I to the search on Google and Always and Forever Pets popped up once again. It just felt right. We scheduled a date and time and enjoyed all the snuggles and kisses until the day came. Gemmi immediately walked up to Dr. Vasquez when she arrived. I think she sensed the kindness and love that later we would experience for ourselves. All I could say was as heartbreaking and hard as this experience was, it was so worth having Dr. Vasquez there to help our baby cross the rainbow bridge and no longer be in pain. I have no words to describe the compassion and love that filled the room. We miss our baby terribly but know that she felt so much love. Thank you, Dr. Vasquez for your love and kindness

Dr Vasquez was simply awesome! She came in, took the time to comfort us and our pet. She did not rush anything and made it the most beautiful experience. She is empathetic and kind. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I cannot give enough gratitude to Dr. Barbara for making her way to our home on a Saturday morning for our big girl, Lulu. I did not want to take her (176.6 pounds) back into the vet. She was up to ten pain pills in the am & ten pain pills in the pm, finding no real relief, but just making her sleepy. It was time for me to return Lulu back home. Dr. Barbara was able to come in the comfort of Lulu’s home with all her toy babies nearby. Dr. Barbara left me with a vial of fur trimmings which I will treasure. Then by morning I had a digital paw print in my email. A few days later, Lulu was ready to be picked up. This is a path all fur parents must face. I have had to do it three times now. This was by far the best one for my baby girl, all because of Dr. Barbara. I hope & pray if you are in this situation do not think twice you will not find anyone more compassionate & loving than Always & Forever.

We had never considered home euthanasia but decided it was the best, most peaceful option for our beloved dog, Little Mug. Dr. Barbara Vasquez was nothing short of phenomenal–absolutely felt like family during her visit with us. She was incredibly understanding, caring, and respectful to us and our dog. She took the time to talk with us, made us and the dog feel completely comfortable and led us through the process step by step in a most caring way. It was done so peacefully that our dog did not even feel a thing, just drifted off to sleep completely peacefully as we held him and said our goodbyes–nothing you can usually do in a standard Vet clinic. The service provided was worth every penny ten times over. We can’t imagine doing it any other way and recommend it to anyone who loves their pet and wants it to leave this experience in the most peaceful way possible. Dr. Vasquez was absolutely superb and ensured that our dog’s last day was filled with nothing but love and peace, we couldn’t be happier about our experience.

We recently said goodbye to Louie, my son’s dog, and it was one of the hardest days for our family. The care and compassion shown to us were extraordinary. Being able to be in our own backyard, surrounded by nature, made an unbearable moment peaceful. Because of Dr Vasquez’s kindness and professionalism, Louie’s final moments were calm and full of love. That has made a real difference in our grieving process. We are truly grateful. Thank you!

Dr. Barbara Vasquez provided our beloved Curtis with a gentle and peaceful farewell, surrounded by love and respect. Her kindness extended beyond the moment, thoughtfully arranging for help with his aftercare given his large size. Throughout this heart-wrenching experience, Dr. Vasquez and her team showed unwavering compassion and preserved Curtis’s dignity, offering comfort and support to our family when we needed it most. You don’t find people like this every day, they are a blessing, they definitely made a difference between unbearable, and comforting, we’re blessed to have them!

When our kitty, Cash, was first diagnosed with an aggressive tumor we were told he’d likely only have a few months left before his quality of life was too compromised. Aside from the tumor he was otherwise very healthy and in good spirits. Then one morning everything changed and he went from jumping and playing to not having full control over his body. All we wanted was to give him a peaceful passing at home but his decline was rapid and I didn’t think we were going to get the opportunity. In a last ditch attempt I called Always and Forever Pets and was so relieved when Dr. Vasquez said she was available that evening. Our kids were able to come home from school and say their goodbyes and, to the extent they were comfortable, were able to participate in showering Cash with affection as he crossed the rainbow bridge. Dr. Vasquez was so warm, compassionate, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. I’m amazed at her ability to support grieving families over and over again. She prepared us with what to expect and answered all of our questions before, during, and after. She took great care in minimizing anything that would distract from our final moments with our little-big guy. It was, by far, the most peaceful passing I have ever seen. I even remarked that when I go, this is how I would want to do it… at home, surrounded by loved ones, under the Christmas tree. I hope to never have to use Dr. Vasquez’s services again but I can guarantee you truly are in the best hands under her care.
Dr. Vazquez is one of the most awesome vets we have ever known. She has so much compassion and empathy for her fur babies and their families. Over the past three years, she has been there to help with the passing of three of our fur babies through euthanasia. Although it was hard to go through the process of losing our babies, she did her best to ensure they and we were comfortable during the final time. She has gone the extra mile to check up on us to see how we are doing after losing our loved ones. She also understood that our animals were definitely like our children and the tremendous loss we felt. We definitely recommend her services to anyone if the time ever arises when one has to put their loved fur baby down. She is definitely one of the best!

After receiving the shattering news that our sweet 7.5-year-old boy was not going to make it through, was in pain and suffering, Dr. Vasquez immediately answered our call for a home euthanasia. We wanted to say our goodbyes peacefully in his own living room, and while he laid in his comfy bed. What would have been one of the worst moments we’ve had to endure, Dr. Vasquez brought us peace, comfort, laughs, and even loved on him with us before we said our final goodbyes. She was confident and calm, walking us through every step of the process with a soft-spoken tone with words embodying empathy. We highly recommend her to anyone that has the opportunity to be with their fur baby while they cross the rainbow bridge, in the comfort of their forever home. It’s not goodbye, it’s until we see them again!

There are moments in life that are incredibly difficult, and saying goodbye to our sweet boy, Rowdy, was one of them. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Barbara Vasquez for the compassion, kindness, and dignity she brought to that day for us. From the moment she arrived, Dr. Vasquez made us feel supported. She spoke gently, treated Rowdy with such care and respect, and never made us feel rushed. She gave us the time and space we needed to love on him, share memories, and say goodbye in our own way. What stood out most was her genuine compassion. This wasn’t just a service being performed—it was clear that she truly understood the bond between us and our sweet boy. Her calm presence helped bring a sense of peace during one of the most heartbreaking moments for our family. Because of Dr. Vasquez, Rowdy was able to spend his final moments at home and comfortable. If you are facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Barbara Vasquez with Always and Forever Pets. We will always be grateful for the kindness, empathy, and care she showed Rowdy and our family.

Dr. Vasquez fit us into her tight schedule to help sweet Gozey in our time of need. She took as much stress out of the situation as is possible with her compassion, warmth, and professionalism. I feel Gozey was treated respectfully from the start. I am so very appreciative that Dr. Vasquez in particular has made herself available for these services.

Dr. Barbara Vasquez was so kind. Very prompt and attentive during this very difficult decision. Would highly recommend if you ever have to make this difficult choice.

I want to give a huge thank you to Always and Forever Pets and Barbara Vasquez. Our family was in need of end-of-life care for our 16-1/2-year-old chihuahua mix Whitey. Barbara was extremely caring and professional as she guided us through the process, and we can’t thank her enough. I hope this review can offer some comfort and guidance knowing that if you use Always and Forever Pets you can rest assured that you and your pet will be treated with dignity and respect. Thank you again, Barbara!

I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Vasquez and Always and Forever Pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet Great Dane, Ziggy, and Dr. Vasquez handled the entire process with such incredible compassion and grace. It meant the absolute world to us to be able to do this peacefully at home. Ziggy and his brother, Rory, came into this world together, and being at home meant Rory could be right by his side when he passed. Dr. Vasquez even went above and beyond by finding my Flickr page and putting together a beautiful, thoughtful photo collage of Ziggy for me. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, but the empathy and care we received made a very difficult day a little bit easier. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a peaceful, dignified way to say goodbye to their furry family members. Also, her prices are very reasonable. Especially when you can let them go in the comfort of your own home. So for those that don’t know how much this service costs whether in the Vet or at home, I recommend doing some research before having to make such a difficult decision.

When the time came to say goodbye to Hope my beloved pet of 16 years, I was heartbroken and overwhelmed. I decided to have a veterinarian visit our home to help us through the euthanasia process, and we couldn’t be more grateful for that choice. Dr. Barbara Vasquez was the veterinarian whom brought a level of love, kindness, and compassion that truly made a painful moment feel more bearable.
From the very first interaction, it was clear Dr Vasquez deeply understood how difficult this experience was. She patiently answered all my questions and gave me space to say my goodbyes in my own time. The gentle, respectful manner in which she treated Hope was Dignified, comforting and uplifting during such a fragile moment.
I was also reminded me that this was my final act of love to her.
Having someone who not only demonstrated great professionalism but also genuine empathy made all the difference. It eased the emotional burden tremendously and allowed me to hold onto the beautiful memories without being overwhelmed by fear or sadness. If you ever find yourself facing this heartbreaking decision, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Barbara Vasquez. The compassion and warmth Always and Forever Pets offer can truly transform a difficult goodbye into a moment filled with love and peace.

We are so fortunate to have found Dr. Vasquez when our Russian Blue fell ill quite suddenly. The care and compassion that she provides is very special, and we honestly felt she was grieving along with us. She understood the need for quick action to ease his suffering and visited the next day – could have done it the same day, but we were not ready. The process, although extremely difficult for anyone to deal with, was done at our own pace, and we never felt rushed. She kept us informed during the transport and cremation process as well and offered her support via email and phone. We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vasquez and hope that everyone can take advantage of this service. She is a special woman to be able to provide this service to very, very sad human families.

We called Dr. Barbara Vasquez January 17th to euthanize our sweet corgi, Rici. She was very professional but what stood out so much was her kindness, love and compassion. She gave us peace during one of our hardest days. We will forever remember Dr. Vasquez and the gentle way she cared for Rici. Thank you so much!

Dr. Barbara Vasquez with Always and Forever Pets is a true angel. I was able to contact her first thing in the morning to help us plan Chispa’s final hours of life in the comfort of our home. She is professional, kind, and amazing. She knew how to comfort our family as we said goodbye to our Chispa. Thank you so much for a peaceful experience.
“We had to say goodbye to our 14 year old Gus boy today. We are new to the area and hadn’t established vet care yet, but the experience we had was the absolute best it could have been given the circumstances. Dr. Vasquez was compassionate, kind, informative and patient. She delivered information to us gently and there was no pressure to make any decision…I felt peace, support and so much compassion from everyone we interacted with – I highly recommend trusting them with your fur babies”

Barbara (Dr. Vasquez) is like a Michelin 5 star waiter – gives you your space, but is there precisely when you need her.
I don’t wish this decision on anyone, but if you choose to make it, she was so easy to work with. She answered our questions about our dogs disease, and helped us understand the trajectory. She said, “I’m not here to convince you, I’m here to support you.”
And that’s exactly what she did.
From her reasonable cancelation to her cremation services, it allowed us to spend a beautiful morning outside in our dog’s favorite place and go to sleep.
She took our little girl, and now I have her ashes to secretly spread where she loved life most. Truly grateful. Grateful Puppy Dad.
